Privacy Policy:

• Privacy Policy Statement for casual visitors to our website, we do not collect any information regarding domains, email addresses, or any other personal details. The information that we collect from our customers is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes. If you do want to receive emails regarding new products, services or events from us in the future, please let us know by sending an email to us via the contact page stating that you do wish to receive further communications from our company. The Yorkshire Card Company has created this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our customers.

Information we hold:

• If you have shopped with us we will hold your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card details. We will also hold the delivery address (es) for your orders and the password information associated with your account. We also maintain a record of your product selections.
• We may also collect information about where you are on the internet (e.g. the URL you came from and the way in which you navigate the site.)

Information we use:

• We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes; for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.
• Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.
• All the information we hold is used to improve your customer experience

Order Fulfillment / Payment:

• When you place an order to purchase a product from the Yorkshire Card Company, your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a confirmation email. You do have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days after the date the item is delivered.
• As far as possible, all items listed on the site are available for immediate dispatch and we aim to issue all orders within 48 hours of receiving cleared payment confirmation. Any back order items will be notified to you immediately and sent as soon as available. All items are, however, subject to availability, and we reserve the right to change prices listed without notice although current orders will not be affected.
• Orders can be paid using all major UK credit and debit cards via our own secure server, Paypal or Google Checkout facility. Payment processing is automated and there are no additional charges for credit card payments. A Paypal account is also not required and when you make a purchase by Paypal and 'proceed to checkout' you will be taken to a secure server. At the bottom of the page you will see a small padlock that informs you that your information is encrypted and you are on a secure server (SSL).

Delivery & Postage:

• In stock items are usually dispatched within 48 hours of cleared payment. We will take all reasonable steps to deliver back order items within 28 days, but will not be held liable for failure to deliver within this time. If we are unable to deliver within a reasonable time you will be informed by email and offered the option to cancel the order and given a full refund.
• For UK Mainland your goods should be delivered within 3 to 5 working days. For non UK Mainland deliveries, please allow longer delivery times.
• We cannot accept liability for packages being lost, stolen or delayed whilst in transit. A certificate of posting is always obtained.
• Delivery is charged as follows on orders of:
£0.00 >2.00 = £1.00
£2.01 >10.00 = £2.99
£10.01>25.00 = £3.99
£25.01>49.99 = £4.99
We offer FREE delivery in the UK when you spend over £50
• All orders will be dispatched by Royal Mail First Class. If you require any different postal service please contact us for specific details.
• Each card comes in a clear, sealed protective packet and delivered in a board backed envelope to ensure its safe arrival.
Personalised and engraved items are delivered in 10 to 14 working days. We do however offer an express delivery for personalised gifts which we dispatch within 5 working days priced at just £7.95. Please select this option at the checkout if you require your gift in a hurry!

Overseas Orders:

• We do accept orders from outside the UK. If you require an overseas shipment please contact us for specific details.

Prices:

• All prices are correct at time of publishing. No additional surcharges are added. All prices are in Pounds Sterling.

Cancellations:

• You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
• If you wish to exercise this right prior to dispatch of the goods please email sales@yorkshirecardcompany.com
• If your order has already been dispatched please follow our returns information.

Returns:

• If you are unhappy with a product for any reason, just send it back to us (with the original packaging) and we’ll refund or replace – it’s that simple.
• We regret that postage, packing and insurance incurred in the delivery of the goods to you are direct costs and cannot be refunded except in the case of cancellations.
• Please contact us by email to sales@yorkshirecardcompany.com or by telephone on 0844 357 6550 prior to returning an item.
• You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us, and will remain responsible for any and all returned goods until they reach our warehouse. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate should be obtained when returning any part of your order. Certificates are available free of charge from the Post Office.
• Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival.

Engraved or personalised products are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. We hope you will love your gift but if for any reason any item received is not in satisfactory condition it will be replaced immediately. Please ensure you check the spelling of any names or messages for personalising or engraving as refunds or an exchange is not available as a result of your error. All personalising will be printed exactly as you write it whether it is in capitals or lowercase, please ensure you check all wording is correct prior to placing order.
